openJII Public Beta v0.2 — December 2025

Offline measurements and a back button in the field, plus the web platform's first notifications and visualizations.

openJII began its open beta in December 2025. Backend, mobile and documentation v1.0.0 releases were published on 8 December, followed by web v1.0.0 on 15 December. The historical product milestone was also labelled v0.2. See the backend v1.0.0 release.

Our second beta made field work more forgiving and gave the web platform its first look at your data.

Mobile app

  • Offline measurements: capture data with no connection and sync it later.

  • Back button in the measurement process, so a wrong turn no longer means starting over.

  • Turn MultispeQ off straight from the app.

Web platform

  • Notifications when you are added to an experiment.

  • Visualizations: the first in-platform charts of your measurement data.
